OUR MINISTRIES 

Our program is  a safe, energizing, and active program within an atmosphere based on Christian values and principles that meets the needs of children at their level of development. Creating opportunities to share with them the joy of knowing, growing and showing God's love and to equip them with the knowledge and tools to stand firm in a challenging world. 

Newborn to 4 years 

The Mission of Bethel Baptist Church Nursery Ministry is two-fold; to provide safe, secure and loving care for children, while their parents attend the church service, and to partner with parents in laying strong foundations of love for Jesus and His church. Because learning begins at birth, we believe it's important to teach about the love of God in the nursery. 

AWANA is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for toddles through 5th graders that actively involves parents and church leaders. AWANA reaches kids where they're at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Music, games, lessons and dinner makes up each Sunday night throughout the school year here at Bethel Baptist. We'd love to have your child join in on the fun! 

Our youth group name "Rooted" comes from the scripture "Therefore as you receive Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith just as you were taught" Colossians 2:6-7. We meet every Sunday and Wednesday night for a meal, lesson and game. It is important for us to engage our youth with the scriptures, while providing a fun and safe atmosphere where  they feel challenged and encouraged and in turn want to invite their friends. 

Men and Women, Single or Married

The name "In-Betweeners" comes from the thought that many adults get lost somewhere in the shuffle between the youth ages and senior adult ages. Here at Bethel, we want to share the love of Christ with each other and the community around us - while being active physically and spiritually. We have quarterly outings like skiing, hiking, rafting, cookouts and more. Come and Join us! 

Ages 16 & Up

We participate in serval different sports leagues including; softball. basketball, bowling and more. We are adding more each season! 

The MOB is designed to help encourage men in their walk with Christ. We center a lot of our fellowship around meals. The MOB makes breakfast every Sunday morning for our church family. They also meet the first Saturday of each month for "MOB Breakfast and Book". Currently they are reading the book "Hazards of Being a Man" by Jeffery E. Miller. 

WMU participates in missions to help ours and other communities in need. Some of these ministries include: Appalachian backpack outreach,  Clover Area Assistance Center and Appalachian Region children where they make dresses out of pillowcases. 

It's never too late to make new friends and bring others to Christ. Being a Christian is a lifelong commitment. The seniors host many fundraisers through the year to raise money to go on a senior trip each year, the regular luncheons and more. We would love for you to join us for serving opportunities and fun social events.
